General InformationCar ParkingThe Adelaide Convention Centre operates both the Riverbank and North Terrace car parks, which are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Riverbank car park is accessed from Festival Drive and the North Terrace car park is accessed from North Terrace. A total of 1200 spaces are available and access to the Convention Centre is via lift. If you misplace your name badge please see the staff at the registration desk. No Smoking PolicyAll internal areas of the Adelaide Convention Centre are non-smoking. Communications and InternetPublic: the Convention Centre's high-speed wireless and cabled broadband networks provide Internet access to all areas. Other communication services include standard telephone and fax, video conferencing and Internet streaming. Event-related: A 100 Mbits/s fibre link, along with their extensive CAT-6 wired network, provide extensive Internet facilities throughout the Centre. They offer a range of ‘off the shelf’ IT services, but can also custom design as required. Telecommunications: Telephone, facsimile, data modem and EFTPOS lines can be provided at any location within the complex. All services are individually metered and each line can be programmed to your specific requirements. Videoconferencing: Sophisticated videoconferencing facilities are available. From ISDN to satellite telecommunications or optic fibre. Business CentreTo ensure delegates can remain productive whilst on location, our well-equipped Business Centre is open daily for use during events. Customer relations staff are also on hand to assist with any last minute requests. Special NeedsAt the Adelaide Convention Centre, both car parks have parking bays set aside close to the elevators for people with disabilities and these elevators provide wheelchair access from the car parks, streets and all floors. Signage throughout the building is large and clear to ensure it can be read by all. Staff are trained to speak clearly when making announcements to public areas and hearing induction loops for all areas are available on request. SecurityThe centre provides a comprehensive CCTV system which is permanently monitored from our on-site security control room and modern electronic card key door lock system. All of our staff are professional licensed security officers and receive additional training specific to our venue and to event management operations. The Adelaide Convention Centre can provide security risk management services on request and for Federal and State Government clients we can provide protective security risk management services compliant with Protective Security Management Frameworks. ATMThe Adelaide Convention Centre has an ATM facility in Foyer G, which accepts all cards. Personal InsuranceDelegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to person or property, including baggage during the Meeting. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance. TaxisTaxi ranks are about a 30 second walk from the Adelaide Convention Centre, near the front terrace. Booking can be made by Convention Centre staff as requested. Public TelephonesThere is a public telephone located on-site at the Convention Centre, in the main foyer.
