General Meeting and Program Questions
1. Where will the Meeting sessions be held?
All Meeting sessions will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
2. Where will the Meeting Gala Dinner be held?
The Meeting Gala Dinner will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
3. How much will the Meeting cost?

Registration for the ASOHNS 2012 ASM will open in November 2011.Please note the great savings when you book early.
Early bird prices are available until Monday 16 January 2012.

4. What's included in my Meeting registration fee?
Morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas are included in the full registration fee. The Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner are included with the full registration type.
You will also receive a name badge, meeting bag and a delegate listing.
Additional tickets to these functions are available for purchase.
5. What is the dress code for the Meeting?
During the Meeting days, smart casual attire is preferred.
For the social program, smart casual attire is recommended for the welcome reception and for the Meeting Gala Dinner lounge suit/evening wear is recommended.
6. What is the climate for April in Adelaide?
Adelaide enjoys a predictable ‘Mediterranean style’ climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters punctuated with occasional rain.
It is Australia’s driest capital city with only a few millimetres of rain falling in Adelaide during summer.
Average day-time temperature during summer is 29ºC, with evenings breezes off the Southern Ocean and Adelaide Hills that cool the city.
Winter days are often sunny with an average of 16ºC.
7. Can I bring extra guests to the social events?
Yes, extra tickets to both the Welcome Reception and the Meeting Gala Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre can be purchased up until Friday 25 March 2012.
Additional Welcome Reception tickets can be purchased for $110.00 per ticket and additional Dinner tickets can be purchased for $160.00.

2.00pm, Friday 30 March 2012
Registrations will be available onsite at the Meeting from this time.
5. I need to cancel. Is there a cancellation policy?
All cancellations need to be made in writing to Kellie Singer at Consec - Conference Management via email address
Meeting Cancellation and Refund Policy
Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the meeting after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. In the case of a cancellation, delegates must inform the Professional Meeting Organisers in writing of their inability to attend. A refund of the registration fee, less a cancellation fee of $110.00 including GST will be made on or before 1 March 2012.
No refunds will be made to anything after the 1 March 2012.
All refunds prior to 1 March 2012 will be made after the meeting. Any changes made to a registration within 7 days of the meeting will incur a $40.00 administrative fee.
Accommodation Cancellation Policy
Delegates who cancel their accommodation booking must inform the Professional Meeting Organisers in writing of their cancellation before Friday 25 March 2012. Bookings made after that date cannot be guaranteed. For any rooms cancelled thirty (30) days or less prior to arrival or where a delegate does not arrive on the date booked, a cancellation fee may be charged to the delegate depending on conditions above. Accommodation deposits may also be forfeited if the room is not occupied on the requested check-in date. Please check the individual hotels cancellation policies.
6. Will my details be published in the delegate list?
In registering for this Meeting, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name and organisation only - in accordance with the Australian National Privacy Act), and may be made available to parties directly related to the meeting including Consec - Conference Management, the Meeting Organising Committee, venues and accommodation providers (for the purposes of room bookings and meeting options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and parties associated with related meetings.
If you do not wish for your details to be published in the delegate list please tick the "privacy required" box on the first page of the registration form.
